Cricket II .25 in the woods with refinished stock

Remembered the cheek piece this time! Put my cricket back together after sanding, staining, and sealing the factory wsa stock and couldn’t be happier. Figured today was a good day to see if the squirrels thought it looked nifty. Here’s the four that have ventured a little too close today so far. Still sitting in the woods waiting on a deer but if more squirrels show up before then they will get added to the pile. 55 degrees and partly sunny so it’s not like I’m suffering

Thanks everyone! I love getting out in the woods and looking for more squirrels to add to the freezer. Been a great season for good numbers. Heading to a new lease this weekend that may become my home base for next season. The deer hunters tell me tales of a couple fox squirrels big enough to carry you off. They said no one had hunted squirrels on the 670 acre property for over thirty years. Gotta find out for myself but to say I’m excited is an understatement. I can deer hunt also but my main passion is squirrels. The 7 other deer hunters are excited I’ll be thinning out the trouble makers that make deer hunting harder for them. Pictures coming soon!
