Received the replacement stock for my .25 cricket II last night. Before anything else I removed and re glued all of the magnets in the magazine storage and installed a picatinny rail. Two of the magnets had already pulled themselves out of their housings and I love a bipod when setting a gun down in the woods. Now it’s ready for some adventure. I plan on ordering some kydex to form a cheek piece that better matches the stock. Removed the action from my cracked wsa stock and placed it in the new synthetic stock. Beautiful fit but the forward stock screw is the wrong size so I’ll need to source one before Saturday. It is a bit heavier than the wsa stock but shouldn’t be an issue. Anxious to get it out this weekend for some squirrel hunting and not have to think about how wet it’s getting in the snow. We had an ice storm last night and I’ve got a bunch of limbs and trees down on my property to cut up before Saturday if I want to be able to hunt all day without questions from the wife. I’ll be posting plenty more pictures in the hunting section soon.
