cricket II Tactical

I don't know how the Tactical's cocking stands up to the Argus or the Cricket II Bullpups cocking action...but.

The Argus (mine is the 45) cocking is very smooth. No hard areas, no grittiness. After a little oil, all is good.

I just got a Cricket II bullpup. 90% of the cocking action is also very smooth and light. The only area that takes a "little" tug is the final little bit of the rearward arm movement, and it really isn't THAT big a deal. Just a final little bit of a tug.

I have a hard time understanding people whining about not having a hot buttery soft cocking action..! Just baffles me. I would understand if the movement was like having the action full of beach sand, or needing two hands to pull the cocking arm. But just because there's a little bit of a hard spot, or that it takes an "actual" pull or push..? You've obviously never shot an Edgun Lelya or Matador.

I have never found yet a conversation in this forum where they confess the need of so many changes from a brand new Uragan. Nor Daystate.

Buying a so expensive rifle in order to start changing pieces to make it work properly, is not a selling argument for some people.

There's a segment of airgun shooters (to which I belong) that do not focus the preference in buying problems.
