Cricket ll Tactical 60 .22

This is new to me and is fastly becoming my go to for pest birds out to 88 yards and garden raiding groundhogs out to about 50 yards. When I received it I had what i thought was very light hammer strikes. My highest fps with any pellet was with the hammer spring adjuster turned 4 turns out. This was frustrating so I removed the regulator and found that the retaining nut had backed out to almost touching the adjusting screw. After making this correction and turning the regulator up 1/16 of a turn I found it to be a 12 fpe gun.?? I still had the 4 turns out issue. After some advice I took the valve out to check for a broken stem. To my surprise I found the valve spring to have almost zero preload. Everything else looked good and after some testing I settled on 2.5 turns of preload. With this setup I now shoot HADES with 4 turns out at 885 fps with sub moa groups ot to 88 yards wind not withstanding. It also shot MRD at 1/4 turn out MOA ish out to 88 yards. Sorry, no fps on these. I need to try the 18 grains next.
I really like the HADES for its ability to cause more than normal wounding.
The only annoying aspect of shooting this is the almost ear ringing PING of the hammer striking the valve pin. I'm looking for ways of toning this down. If this can be done it will be whisper quite. BTW I also have the Impulse Air 1200 moderator on it which really like.
Great trigger, after adjustment.
One of my favorite attributes of this air gun is the lack of lead build-up in the barrel. No other .22 I have is this clean!
What is your favorite pellet with this air gun and why?

I have the Cricket 2 Tactical 45 .22. I only shoot in my backyard and only recently found a way to safely squeak out a 50yd shot. I've started testing all my pellets in all my guns at 50 and 25yds. My Cricket was loving the JSB 18.13. Once I saw how well it was grouping on a 2" target at 50yds I decided to shoot a mag at the quadrant target and I put 11/14 on the 1" center circle at 50yds. That was fun since the 50yd shot is new for my backyard range :)

The JSB 15.89's, Air Arms Diabolo Field Heavy 18's and the H&N Baracuda 18's all did excellent at 50yds. The Polymag Shorts 15.89gn did very well but not quite as good.

I didn't have good luck with the JSB 14.35's, H&N FTT 14.66, JSB Hades 15.89, H&N Terminator 16.36, H&N Baracuda Hunter 18.21 and JSB Exact Jumbo Monster 25.39's. The JSB MRD were slightly better than the others in this list at 50yds.

I haven't had an opportunity to do any 25yd testing.
