Finally fixed all mechanical issues of Cricket and rebuilt it's Huma regulator.

The gun is reasonably consistent now.

But with 18 grain jsb pellets its giving more than 1" group at 24 yards. I tested from 850 fps to all the way upto 950 fps but accuracy is not acceptable.

I also checked the breach O ring and barrel outer O rings.

I have yet to check if the barrel is choked or not. By the internal profile it appears to be a CZ hammer forged barrel.

Any advice about fixing the accuracy? Is there a catch there that I am missing?

The .22 C2 Tac 60 doesn’t have a choked barrel. Try some 21gr H&N .218 slugs.

So it's exclusively for slugs.

I tried some slugs and jsb redesigned 25 grain pellets. The barrel preference is Jsb redesigned .22 25 grain pellets.

Jsb knockout worked reasonably good and h&n couldn't give accuracy.

Initially the sear was rubbing with the hammer when the hammer was released. Fixed this technical issue and now the consistency is reasonable.

Found the issue that was causing inaccuracy to 18 grain jsb pellets.

Removed the barrel and found that it is really un choked.

But the real problem was that the barrel was tighter at the breach. It was so much tight at breach that after the breach the pellets started free fall all the way out of the muzzle.

I polished the tight spot at breach to the extent that now 18 grain pellets after crossing problematic area remain snug in the barrel all the way out of the barrel from the muzzle.

Tested jsb 18 grain at 24 yards. It's one holer now.

Thank you for the input friends.
