Crimson Trace 3 series

i pulled the trigger on one and wondering how they are got the 5-25/56 34 mm hows the reticle hope its not way to thick

I think it’s perfect, but your opinion might differ. It’s small at minimum magnification but still very usable. I don’t care for FFP scopes where the reticle is so fine and thin you can’t even see it till about half power. It has the small floating dot in the center so you can see what’s around it before the remaining reticle comes in.

That scope suffers from acromegaly

The manufacturers of today are fashioning optics of titanic proportions, which I don't find appealing at all, but please make no mind of my personal contemplation, gents.

That’s not an issue for me here as it’s going on a bullpup and the small rifle size cancels out the large scope size. It’s like going out to eat and getting a double bacon cheeseburger, large chili cheese fries and a diet coke. The diet coke cancels out some of the calories form the rest of your order. I might be guilty of doing both of the above.

Pro Tip - Get a couple diet coke refills and bam, guilt free dessert.

I got the CT scope last week and it's ginormous! With the factory covers on, it's 2lbs 4oz! It's so my first 34mm scope (all others are 30mm) so it was surprising to see the size and weight difference. Optics and reticle look decent enough and it's a good looking scope all the way around (the alignment lines on the sides of the tube are brilliant and more manufacturers should have them) but none of these things are noticeably better than any other scope I own to justify the big weight difference.

Got my 3 series today. 5-25/56. Wow what a clear scope. Reticle is very nice.. Clear all the way up. Not as heavy as it seems either compared to my titan. Get one if you get a chance. Turrets are nice wish they locked but not a deal breaker for the clarity of the glass will be putting on my uragan king when it gets here turrets are ok not as nice as the titan

Reticle is nice. Would prefer a smaller center dot though. Turrets are not as tactile and clicky as the element or viper PST Gen2. Crimson Trace discontinued three series and five series scopes. They have just released their new line of scopes hardback and Brushback lines. The only scopes they are continuing with are the two series now referred to as the legacy scopes

Makes sense the deal then!

I just opened the package on my 3 series, and WOW, what a great scope! I'm very very happy with this purchase....

Yeah my power is hard also but every thing else is very nice keep me posted on the magnification ring I’ll take one turrets are very precise mines not mushy at all

Yes I don't know how to describe the turrets, notice that I said they feel precise but maybe is just that the clicks are better on the Tract and the Arken. I'm not saying the CT clicks are bad, they are not, but I prefer the clicks on the Arken and on my Tract better.

You can buy throw levers direct from CT. $19.95 gets you a two pack, one short and one long.

Really!!? Wow this is awesome, I'll buy from them then, typically the manufacturers sell this accessories at a ridiculous price, but at $20 for 2 is a good deal, I'll also check what else they have

Oh man, mine gets here tomorrow. Not sure if i should be nervous or excited!!

Happy definitely! If I can do with this what I can do with the Tract....I will sell the Tract

The scope is big, but it doesn't have sunshade amd I add sunshade to all my scopes, so it feels very familiar.... Now, if add a 3 inches sunshade to this scope it will looks ridiculous long

Thanks for sharing this, just ordered and was amazing

They applied $3 discount, don't really know why, then free shipping... I ended up paying $18 because they applied a tax...

Ohh also forgot to mention the scope comes with with very nice lens covers not those bikini covers I never use.

Wish they had scope rings....
