looking for recomdation's . i want to buy a crono , NOT FX . NOT LAB RADAR . looking for Caldwell or Caldwell type any thing i should look out for ? Thanks

If that's your style find whatever is cheap maybe buy two maybe buy some steel plate to put in front of the device. I'm pretty sure they're like microwaves they're all made in the same Chinese factory anyways. Definitely a smart option to save your money on a crony.

I have a ProChrono dlx, with a diy light kit. This works very well and rarely misses a shot. The Prochono also is Bluetooth and has good data easily available to your phone or tablet. I recently got the FX chrony, and while i like it, the data is easier to access and automatically saved on the Prochrono.

I've got the Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph, and shot it twice now. Once through it blowing out the battery with a .30 and again across the top with .357 and it is still kicking. Great piece of kit for the money.

I have a Caldwell, the one that's upside down. Works great outside or inside under fluorescent lighting. The app works fine with my android. Even better with an Apple.

I took a chance on the cheap 35.00 chrono and got what I expected...cheap Chinese junk that did not work. Get one...yours might..

One time some guys with a iphone had trouble with cadwells apple app.
May look at that if you use apple. Maybe fixed or updated by now but i just eanted to bring that up .. maybe a non-issue today? Never know.
