Crosman 1100 Trapmaster repair

I have a Crosman 1100 trapmaster I am trying to repair but need some help

I have been following a guide for disssembly and am stuck on trying to move the valve tube assembly from the compression tube.

aside from checking the seals, which I think might be fine, the issue is since this is where the compression tube screws onto the receiver, it is out of line enough that it is starting to mess with the threads of the screws.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get it a tad forward/push it out somehow?

I ordered more screws incase but I am hoping I wont have to. I have some thread cleaners and a die set so I can clean them up, but hoping to actually correct this. Its a bit snug inside the compression tube where the co2 canisters go.

Any help would be appreciated, Im a tad desperate to fix a pretty rare airgun

That's a tough one for sure. Aside from modifying the internals (or the hole) enough to get it to line up, I can't see an answer.

You might want to go over to the vintage section at www.gatewaytoairguns.com and see if someone there has an answer for you. There are some really knowlegeable people there.

Cheers,

J~
