The Hornady RB shoot the best.

luckily he had a box of lead I needed for the Crosman 1100 trapmaster. Some Hornady
36 .375 lead balls.

So, it's a .380 bore correct?
Are you muzzle stuffing the balls with a patch?
With no shot shell ammo yet (well, still waiting on the gun also) I'd like to try round ball but have no idea on the tactics.

You use a expended shot shell. The 375 lead ball fits sung inside of it.

Heyo this is almost two years late but do you have a list of what you have reloaded here?

I too want to experiment with loads and the only thing Ive found to fit these pellets, aside from the usual 7 1/2 -8 shot is the hornady .375 lead balls, sometimes with patch
