Maybe I was wrong to do so, but I have been storing it loaded and pumped on safe. I was told these guns last longer stored pumped. Worked flawlessly for two weeks, shooting it daily. Then one time it wouldn't fire. Managed to re-cock it, get pellet out, dry fired to release air. Worked fine another two days then no fire, but this time bolt totally jammed, and can't fire, nor get bolt open enough to get the pellet out. So now its not just broken, but also a potential hazard. Pump still works but thats it. Pumping more air in no good. Any ideas how to un-jam this safely?

You Never store any gun loaded....maybe with some air ,but Never loaded....tell us what pellet gun it is,someone here may know how to help you,also maybe able to go online with model number and there will be some information to help you,good luck either way..

Model in thread topic, had you read it. Storing a gun unloaded leaves you with a bludgeon. I'm sure that topic is debatable and not germane to the point..

By leaving gun pumped I think it's meant to store the gun with a single pump just to keep release valve seated. I'm assuming that is what you meant by "pumped on safe " ?

so what would i do
first take off the grips and see were the sear is and for some reason that is the problem pull the sear down
then what pull the 2 rear tube screw and pull the hammer spring out and maybe the bolt will work loose
next pull the breech
like i said the other day if you can't fix it just buy a new one, they are not worth sending out to repair
you got something broken or something that doesn't belong
and as stated one pump when stored
the little screw in the front of the breech could have come loose and is jamming the bolt
looks i was typing the same thing as above

Amazon is replacing it. I'm very displeased though, as I'd heard they were quite reliable. The piston from the back is jammed forward, preventing full bolt travel. There should be no foreign matter; it been in it's holster that I custom made for it.

From now on, only Crosman or Pyramyd Air. This was a legit, bubble packed 1322. I have a couple planned orders for Pyramid; picking up a 2240 and cheap C11 bb plinker and new Ammo for replacement 1322 and the 2240. I will soon order from the custom shop direct from Crosman, but I wanted a storeshel stock 2240 in my collection too, so Pyramyd Air for this one. Will get fancy at custom shop next time.

I had a 22 Seneca Aspen which is a great gun .3/4" at 50 yards all day long which got stolen but prefer my Nova Vista Freedoms same gun with open sights but the Aspen scope was kinda rubbish anyway. Buds gun shop $306.00 Nova Freedom and they ship from ATI importer when you buy from Buds and my 177 shoots more accurately than my 22 and be sure to use the silicone liquid once in a while or the pump may fail YO!

if i to guess again, maybe the hammer cocking pin on top of the hammer has come loose and jam up the works

The hammer is jammed part way forward. I took grips and back off, no obvious way to free anything, just jammed like it was glued together.

OK, I managed to free the hammer by removing the hammer spring and easing it back to fully cocked, replacing hammer spring, while at full cock and tension and replacing the end cap screws while holding that end cap in place against the spring tension (easier than you'd think). I was then able to safely fire the loaded pellet.
It seems it was either half cocked, or the hammer slid part way forward. Why would this happen and how can I fix it? Should I still return it? Functions ok now. Perhaps use it till replacement arrives the send back for refurbishment?
