Will increasing the ID of the transfer port on a current production Crosman 1322 have any noticeable increase in FPS if no other mods are done? If so how much? Current models are rated at 460 FPS.

the answer is yes
if you read enough 1322-1377 post to make power they will tell you what they did but will give you no details
most of these builders have spent years and a hell of a lot of time money to get the most out of their projects and as such they have secrets
most will be at 15 pumps
but as with many things one change will not be enough
so you could change the TP and chrono it
larger barrel is a must
steel breech also
new guts in the pistol will be a big help
you can see power is not free

Virtually stock with moded internals such as large ports from barrel to valve larger valve volume, spring swaps, and virtually zero head space with a pump cup.
. Made 470 at 10 pumps and gained 30fps up to 16 pumps yielding 556fps with 15.49 pellets.
I think some people have seen about 15+fps with just the transfer port but the barrel port is the new bottleneck.
