Good day at the range today, but last week I took my son with his new Crosman 1377 to the range and it shot high and no amount of adjustment left in the rear sight. I took it home and Mr. Dremel made the rear sight slot longer, problem solved. Unfortunately I can not leave well enough alone( tinkerer's disorder) I ordered a steel breach from Crosman and put a very old 80s Aim Point red dot on it, and at the the range and it shot to low. Go Figure. One folded over piece of cardboard from notepad under rear ring later I could not miss tiny metal turkeys, pigs and rams at 20 yards using a front rest, not offhand, Reference jailhouse scene from Blazing Saddles " but I shoot with this hand". I imagine this is a barrel vs breach vs rings alignment issue. Definitely a candidate for Burris Posi-line rings. My son is happy now. My early 80s 1377 still shoots pellets like lopsided BBs. Time for an upgrade for myself, possibly a CO2 pistol. Positive, helpful, and/or witty comments appreciated.
