Crosman 1377 Rebuild/retrofit kit?

Hi Guys,

I have an older Crosman 1377 pistol in .177 It's lost significant power over the years, and needs a rebuild. Also, I'd like to retrofit the sliding breech to a newer style bolt. I have to keep the slide shut with tape now, it's completely worn out. Does anyone have links to where I could buy these parts online? As I could buy a entire gun new for ~$50 I don't really want to spend a lot of money getting this to run effectively again...

I don't know if a plastic 2240 breech would fit, I have never done it but for parts I would just call Crosman

you are right I new one isn't that much and there plenty of parts on Ebay and guns, sometimes you can get a deal

parts at Crosman are cheap in cost

I would just buy a new one and keep yours for parts but flea markets are a good place to get used guns.

Just go to ebay and search the parts you want. Most of the Crosman heavy hitters like Magnum AirPower an Alchemy sell stuff on there.

Part of my problem is not knowing exactly what parts I need, that's why I'm asking the experts here. I do know I can't put on the steel receiver, which is disappointing. I emailed Crosman, waiting on a reply to see what they have to say...

You can use the steel receiver, but you will also have to replace the barrel. I have three of the older 1377's all converted over to steel receiver and .22 caliper. All it takes is money.

Check don cothrans website, he sells complete 1377s, minus the grip frame, for $15
