Crosman 2300T c02 leaking from barrel

My 2300T has developed a leak that is coming from out of the barrel both from the muzzle and breech as soon as the powerlet is pierced. The only place I can see where it can can be leaking from is thru the transfer port. I have changed the o-ring but it continues to leak. Do any of you Crosman pistol gurus out their have any ideas what might be the problem here? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

That would be the valve leaking past the stem seal.

sometimes a drop of oil on the tip of the cart will take care of the problem.

The stems are cheap from Crosman, you can call them and order one, and they can be had many other places as well.

I have a valve stem o-ring that fits inside of the valve body. Will replacing that do the trick or do I need to replace the valve stem, or is the seal you are talking about be the orange seal that goes into the face of the valve? I have several of them

Your gun is leaking from the stem/seat. Usually the cause is a small bit of debris getting stuck under the stem. Many times it can be dislodged by rapid firing without any pellets. If not the valve needs to be removed and taken apart to replace the stem.

You guys are correct. It is leaking from a bad valve stem. Have one ordered.
