Pre ordered one in May 2023, cancelled pre order in mid June due to shift in priorities. Fall came and wife told me to get one if I still wanted one, from there it was another 2 weeks before I convinced myself to make the purchase. So glad I did, this rifle is everything I was expecting that it would be, powerful-check, accurate-check, great wood stock-check, price-I bought the rifle because of the design, wood and limited production run, which at the end of the day makes the price acceptable, keep in mind Crosman only turns 100 years old once.
On a side note I got #621 of 2023 made. The number I got is special to me as it was the last number I had for my Hemet Shield, Radio Call Sign and Bade before I retired as Fire Chief in 2015 with 27 total years of service as a Firefight/EMT for three different communities.
All I can say is if this is a rifle your on the fence about, don’t let it slip away - go get it.
