Crosman 760-C Repair

Hi!

Pictured is the model and SN of my rifle that I've had for well over 30 years. Last time I fired it (years ago), it was difficult to get to hold air. You could get it to "catch" by pumping it really fast a couple times, then it would hold and fire fine.

Today I dug it out and found that it will not hold air now. When you try to pump it, it feels very loose and you can hear air escaping with each pump.

I did some searching for how to fix it and discovered this forum. Could you guys direct me to what parts I need to repair this?

Thanks!

Oil the crap out of it🤷‍♂️
Start with that. And try working the oil down in by shooting it. See if the oil helps(where it does and doesn't) then you can tell what parts are still good and not just needing oil.
At least that is where I would start🎩🤙
Wow!
I initially tried a little oil before I posted to no avail.
After seeing your suggestion and oiling "the crap out of it", it is working great again!

Thank you!

Love it!!!🤗🤗🤗🤗
Them older things were made better, just need lots of oil to bring em back to life🤙
Once it settles in; you will most likely have oil leaking out of areas. Wipe them down but take note of where that oil is coming out of. Then after using a bit(oil leaks dissipate)remember where the oil was coming out, then just oil there and the usual areas. Should be good to go🎩🤙
