Crosman 760 or 1377 w/stock and what is the LOP on 760?

13 and a quarter inches. But I would go with the 1377 or more so the 1322. He will have the 13XX for years to come. The 760...maybe.

I own both.

I have an old 760 and a new one as well as a 1377.

The 1377 is a great gun. It does have a rifled Barrel and is quite accurate for a pistol. I find the trigger pull to be a bit hard on it which can throw accuracy off a little. I agree that the 760 may be a little easier to pump because of the leverage and sometimes I tend to hit my palm on the trigger guard when pumping the 1377. A stock may make the leverage a non-issue when pumping.

The new 1377 feels like a lot more solid gun than my new 760.

Take a t look at the Daisy model 35 too. I'm a Crosman fan, but the 35 is a lot of gun for the money. I don't care for the BB magazine on the chinese crosman pump rifles and I like the sights better on the 35. Now of course, the 1377 would be my first choice in general, but for a kid learning to shoot a rifle and planning to use BB's, the 35 is the winner.
