"Worth the money" is an interesting concept. To you, the F 150 you bought for $35,000 might be a bargain. For me, the same truck at $5,000 might not be worthwhile. I would define "worth the money" as whether the satisfaction you get out of owning and using something is equal to or greater than the amount of life energy you put into acquiring it.
To put that in airgun terms: is the Beeman tuned custom stocked FWB 124 I bought for about five hundred late 1980s dollars worth the money. Absolutely!! Is the Benjamin Trail NP I bought from Crosman on a closeout sale for $96.00 worth the money. No way.
