Crosman free ship Friday no more?

I went back and re-tested and it failed. 😡 I tried a 1701P and a Cayden. The secret password is to put a "R1" into your basket, and the free shipping comes up. Add whatever you really want, then delete the R1. The R1 was the first gun that came up, so I tried that before the 1701. Looks like a few bugs to work out on the new site.

Before they changed, I bought some crosman domes for the SAM. Every place seemed to be out of them, at the time. I got the free shipping on $75 worth of pellets, before AGNATION discount.

The R1 worked to get free shipping but as soon as I remove the R1 the free shipping went away! Their site definitely is a little jacked up because when I click on some items it will send me to something else. 
 
They may be shut down for the rest of the year (Not sure on that) A call is usually all it takes, I also know that there is a real delay right now between the holidays and the vaccine shipments. Crosman may have eliminated the free ship because rates have gone up (and are going to go up again soon). I got my 1701p shipped for free a couple weeks ago, but they still had the free shipping offer going. I also noticed they are out of stock on a lot of items and I have not been able to get .177 premier hollow point pellets anywhere for a couple weeks now. Hopefully every thing gets sorted out soon as I need to get some parts ordered and need some pellets.

I called Crosman yesterday as the website is still charging shipping. The line was hard to get through and when I finally did, I was #16 in the queue. Fortunately it was only about a 15 minute wait. The nice lady on the phone said they did a website update last week and since then there has been issues with the December 31 free shipping promo working. She tried to take my order over the phone, but couldn’t get the “AGNATION” code to work, so she suggested that I place my order online, then call back with my order number and they could credit back the shipping charge. I placed my order and called back several hours later. Still hard to get through, #16 in the queue again. The gentleman looked up my order and said he would email a manager for approval to remove the shipping charge. Everyone was real nice, but now I wait and try to see if the shipping charged is reversed from my credit card and hope I don’t have to call back again. A lot of work for my $20 J. As a side note the gentleman I talked to on my return call said free shipping Fridays should continue going forward.
 
You had better luck than I did today. I called to place a parts order and was #2 in queue for a good hour. Hung up, and called back, again #2 in queue for over an hour. 😡 Either the one person working today, the phone fell off the hook, or the patch out to home office not working. I even tried the option for someone in human services, but went to voicemail. I will try again tomorrow.
 
Odoyle Thanks! Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the country (about 1 and a half hours West of Crosman!). I will check out Acadamy as soon as I have some extra cash. I just blew the rest of my "allowance" on a rebuild kit for my Crosman 101 that I have been sitting on for over 2 years. The boss threatened me with the "fix it or ditch it" talk over the weekend, so I have been cleaning out the garage. I just can't toss an airgun so I told her I needed a rebuild kit to make it work again and she agreed! Then I told her about needing pellets and she laughed right in my face and opened up my ammo box and pulled out 10 tins of various pellets and said to shoot these first. Uggh I should have checked to see if Baker had any pellets and just casually added those to my order lol. What I failed to tell her is the 101 is .22 call and I only have .177 guns so I will need to pick up some .22 pellets this week (thankfully my local Wally world has a ton of .22 pellets in stock).
