Crosman Crosman Icon for $129.99 - free shipping

"Just pull one off" then post a pic of your scratched up barrel.

Understand not everyone has the same skills. I haven't removed one yet but I have worked on enough pbs and airguns to know it's not going to just pull right off without tools or I would recommend that to this person. It is likely heated then pushed on.

If this person follows your suggestion the worst that can happen is a damaged barrel. If he follows my suggestion the worst that can happen is a damaged front post that, if he decided to go that route, had already decided he would never use. There's my detailed xplanation which I do not often offer. It doesn't mean I'm right it just explains why I offered a particular suggestion to this particular person.

Maybe someone will chime in and say yep it slips right off.
First of all it wasn’t a suggestion,it was a question. added a longer barrel to my 1322, also added a front site that just pushed on from crossman. I later removed it and didn’t scratch the barrel, not that I really cared much anyways. When I get mine I’ll try and see. This gun will be thrown on back of a 4-wheeler thru all kinds of brush here n there as that is why I bought it. This is not a $130 trophy gun. You’re welcome for the .stl file BTW.

The moderator looks great.

Can you separate the parts (baffle, external tube, barrel adapter, etc)?

I want to try the 1/2-20 adapter to check for fitness.
I may want to make a longer tube and add more baffles.
Anyways, there are many reasons to have these parts as separate STL files.

@squaker, the front sight is removable fairly easily. I soaked it in Kroil for a bit, then used a block of pine against base and tapped it off with hammer. No scratches, but there is a little unsightly residue left on barrel (might be melted plastic, haven’t tried to remove it yet) if that’s an issue.

Thx for discussion on front site. I'll just leave it there and deal with it.

This is my first PCP. Overwhelmed with all the little orings and spare parts that were sent with the gun and pump. Clearly this will take more Maintenace then my springers. My office looks like a tornado hit. Scopes, scope mounts, tools, boxes, scuba tanks, Parts everywhere. It's hard to walk through it.

I've started pumping. Oh my 40 strokes and i"m about 1000 psi! These pellets better fly to target like a heat seeking missle.

And the wifey heard me pumping at 7:00 am she knows something is up.

It's less than 1/10 the cost of a Daystate. If you compare the two like they are the same thing you'll be disappointed. If $129 with free 3 day shipping is too much for a PCP that produces 33fpe I wouldn't know how to help you.

I've said multiple times now the code I had was a promo offer from another purchase. There is no code to get the Icon cheaper. Comprehension is key.
On the point of the discount code I came across several that said 10% that didn't work. I did see in your prior post that the 20% was because of a prior purchase. Also I was looking for a little input from someone that some time on one of these to know if it was worth buying. You kind of came out of the gate a little rude on me but whatever it takes.

lol yep. I’m just starting into PCPs myself, didn’t take me long to find a cheap compressor after hand pumping for awhile.

can anyone comment on how long shipping takes?
I've never had this happen before, i ordered from crosman and received it the following day, west michigan. Be careful with trigger bearing mod, the bearing thickness was too much and wouldn't allow for sear to catch, even with limit screw removed. Ended up grinding bushing down and is nice now. Cannot believe the price, only tried a couple slug sizes and its not bad.

I had same issue with bearing mod. What did you grind down to make it work? The bearing itself, or the pawl it rides on? Keep in mind I’m about as mechanically inclined as a water buffalo.
