First let it be said I'm no paper target shooter. 50 yards. I was really working hard on the trigger pull getting it half way and then finishing.
Well I keep having shots after 25 start going north and sporadic. I know it's a 30 shot capacity but maybe I need to stop at 25. I'm not yet convinced shots 1-10 are much good either. 30 shots and gun is sitting at 2000 psi.
It seems shots 10-20 are the best.

There are 4 holes at top clustered that was 20-25. Then Going down to next target blamo this is shots 26-30

First target looks great to me. Keep in mind, the rifle is brand new and will need some breaking in. Are you able to chronograph? I’d bet you’re seeing velocity fall dramatically by the last 10 shots or so. Being an unregulated rifle, there seems to be a large power curve - at least what I’m seeing in mine so far. Also keep in mind that I’m very new to this myself, I’m sure some of the sages on here will chime in with better advice than I can offer.

thx!!! no chrono. pyramid air review part 3 showed shots between 4-18 being most consistent fps. the fact that my pellet is going higher and erratic makes me think i loosened hammer spring to much.
You’re a braver man than me, I’m skeered to touch mine! Just kidding, I will when I get to spend a little more time with it. I did one chrono session starting at 2600 psi and 963 fps with Crosman 14.3 gr dome. Ten shots took it down to 2200ish. After 10th shot, velocity had dropped to 916 fps. I don’t have a clue if this is normal or not.

963 seems pretty good thats what the reviewer was getting with .177 7.9

crosman says up to 900 fps
Yeah, I do need to tune mine down a little. I haven’t touched the factory tune yet though, that’s how it came out of the box.

Try cleaning barrel every air fill until the barrel smooths out, also try h&r field target trophy pellets 555 dia.. works for me.

thx I will go the plastic route if I do anything. Getting one of those other things is like hanging out with the wrong crowd and just asking for trouble.
Agreed. I bought a couple Buck-rails just to try them out and see how they’d work. (which is great for as inexpensive as they are) I’m sure I’ll upgrade to an aluminum silencer in the (near) future.

Good call on the FTT 5.55 head! On group #3, when I started single loading vs using the magazines, the first three shots were exactly in the same hole! I even stopped and checked my bore to make sure pellets came out! Sweet!

wow nice groups!! what distance are those?
no way my old man eyes or finger would be able to insert a pellet in that nook.

Has anyone tried adjusting the trigger.
Why, 50 yards of course! Or was it 100? 🤔. Just kidding, this was from the comfort and convenience of my basement, with a very stable setup and no weather to deal with. Big scope set on 15X. End of my bench to target measures 33 feet.

How fast is it shooting the FTT's?
Right now, after turning hammer spring back 1 1/2 turns thanks to @squakers advice, they are averaging 924 fps with an extreme spread of 45 fps on a fresh 2800 PSI fill. This is the 10 shot group I chronographed to get those numbers. I know nothing about how to tune these things, so it’s a real learning curve for me. Taking lots of notes as I go, and hope to understand them when I’m done. lol.
