CROSMAN: NEW DPMS SBR HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINE ISSUES

I just received a new "high " capacity magazine for my Crosman DPMS SBR BB gun. It is supposed to load 25 BB's at a time. The problem is that no matter what I do while following the directions to a tee I cannot get it to load fully. After approximately 20 magazine loads my shot count falls between 19 to 22 shots per mag. I have called Crosman and explained the problem and was told by the lady at Crosman to send it in. I then asked if I could simply speak to the person that would be working on my mag if I was to send it in hoping there might be a simple adjustment or modification I could make before going through the hassle of shipping a magazine from California to New York. That was apparently not possible? My neighbor and I purchased and received our magazines together and he is running into the same problem. This leaves me to think that this is going to be more of a common problem than not.

Does anyone out there have similar issues?

Thanks, John.

Thanks for your reply Yo but my post is referring to the ALL NEW High capacity magazine not the original magazine. I, unlike most, love the speedloader. If people would just relax and use the serrated tab to hold pressure on the loader with your left thumb, tilt the mag down and gently work the plunger with your opposite hand/thumb it's works very well. As far as I'm concerned the guy in the video is doing it wrong, your thumb completely controls the speed loader perfectly and he's not taking advantage of that key feature. He also jump cuts the video when realizing the loader is jammed. A shot of wd40 in that loader before filling and shaking the loader a bit while plunging will give excellent results every time. I can actually reload the original mag faster than I can with the new redesigned "HIGH CAPACITY" mag that has never shot the claimed 25 rounds but instead 19 to 22.

What brand BBs are you using? If they're Crosman brand I would just send them both back to Crosman. Request they actually load the 25 BBs into each magazine before bothering to ship them otherwise get a refund.

I'm using the Hornady Black Diamonds I then tried my neighbors BB's which are the Daisy Premium Grade zinc plated. I have the Crosman BB's I can try as well.

This type of thing often happens with Chinese made products. It's like they make a product then without seeing if it works they ship it. Unless of course they do test it , find out it doesn't work and ship it anyway. I't doesn't really make a difference as the consumer suffers either way. I will say the valving seems better in the new design as it empties the CO2 cartridges more fully than the burst I get out of the original design when changing out cartridges.

I have an email into Crosman so we'll see what they say and go from there. AirGun detective was questioned about the shot count that appeared short on his You Tube video and he stated in the comments that he shot 500 rounds through it off camera and it loaded 25 each time? My neighbor and I sure aren't having that kind of experience.
