Crosman parts made in China?

They didn’t lie, is was a hard yes, some parts are made in other countries.
I can’t get past the in house barrel. I get poor one every time.
Hiring in a NASA reject to help them with barrels? Oh please.
What get me is the vague **** some**** is that 95% ? ......50% ? .......25% ?

Just be honest and tell the consumer what percentage and what parts actually come from China.

...Crosman just bugs me period.

I think there are plenty of valid reasons to be suspicious of the Made In USA label, but given all the public displays of China’s honesty and integrity over the last couple of years doesn’t it seem ironic to ANYONE that no one here is questioning the honesty and integrity of the Made In China label?

I try to buy from USA where I can but also buy foreign goods if no comparable USA products or just so overpriced over the China alternative. I think most people here are this way that can afford to pay their bills. Tools are a good example for me but getting more difficult to find USA made ones. Switching more to used old vintage USA tools off Facebook. For sprinter airguns, I prefer German over anything else although I will make and an exception for Mike Melick Xisco tuned airguns. The B28 I bought from him was a quality airgun. However, it seems he has no guns to sell anymore.
USA parts cost more because we don't have kids working for pennies like china does

When a CEO is making $20 mil a year and the average employee can barely afford a 2 bedroom house it sure as hell ain't the union that's the problem. That CEO would happily pay his guys less and charge us more if given the opportunity.
They do! Once the cost of manufacturing a product in the USA gets too high, they send it to, guess where, where the manufacturing cost is maybe 10 percent of what it costs to make here. Funny, the company charges us the same price while the CEO still gets his fat salary.

If over 50% of the product is made in the US, or the components are assembled in the US, then it can be labeled
" made in the usa" ....Lots of ways for companies to get around labeling....
If you recall, just a few years back, GM made a public statement that they were proud to say 95% of there vehicle parts were made outside the USA !! Yet they advertise american made....

Not any more. The FTC rules state a product must be “all or virtually all” made in the US.

Did not realize that it had been upgraded !! Still wonder how many companies still sneak stuff thru !!

All,
The Marauder is made here in Upstate NY in our Bloomfield facility. The rifles are comprised of parts both foreign and domestic. LW barrels are from Europe and our barrels are made right here in house. We also make the pressure tubes and trigger packs here in our CNC machines. The breech is sourced from local vendors as is the valve and other parts. There are some parts from China like the gauge, O-rings fill nipple among others.

The final assembly and testing is all done here in NY. I hope that clears up any confusion.

John
