Crosman Premier HP grain weight variance

I guess I had too much time on my hands during rainy weather that prevented me from shooting. I randomly picked 2 unopened tins of CPHP (500 rounds each). I washed the pellets and gave them a few days to completely dry.

I weighed each pellet and then did a final count. Below are my findings.

Not too bad I for what they cost I have seen "cheaper" pellets....wondering if they are about the same.

I came to say this but you beat me to it.

The crosmans will also penetrate a but deeper vs the softer lead of jsb. Helps if you are shooting a lower power gun or trying to get through a coon skull.

Most of my pellet ammo collection is Crosman stuff. I have ordered, in .22, the H&N's and JSB's, and have some of them on hand too. Actually, I have fairly decent results with most of the Crosman pellets.

The current CPHP's seem to be rather consistent in accuracy with much less deviation or fliers. They are most definitely my #1 choice in plinking and affable shooting.
