Crosman SA6

In 1958 Crosman made their first Colt Single Action Army replica. Nervous what the consumer may think of the new pistol.
Crosman created a new company just to sell the gun, if it was unsuccessful the Crosman name wouldn’t be associated.
It was a huge success and over the next twenty-five years Crosman went on to sell a huge of a range of Wild West revolver replicas. Crosman created a new company. P. Y. Hahn Mfg. Co. Inc. specifically to produce and sell the new BB shooting Hahn 45 revolver and the Model 166 , With the success of the BB shooting Hahn 45 , Crosman released a .22 pellet shooting version, the Single Action 6 (SA6) within a year. The SA6 was identified as a Crosman product from the start. The SA6 has a 4.25″ rifled barrel and is a heavy well balanced pistol, with black or white imitation staghorn grips. Four different versions of the SA6 were made during its ten years of production. With the differences minor.

A pellet revolver made for the Adult cowboy.

Professor,

Your videos just get better and better, this one being one of the best. The initial write-up was helpful as a heads up to follow the video narrative, I fully support that format. As always, close-ups and operational descriptions are of top interest. Some high points were "fanning," box with contents displayed and staghorn grips. A well balanced, powerful .22 with a 4.5" rifled barrel, should, with some practice, turn out to be a real shooter. Can't wait for outside video of quick-draw fan shooting and a better look at that belt/holster. Well done and thanks for another look back at our airgun past, WM
