Crossman 262

Quality, the valve is one of the best ever made by crosman, used in the SSP250 also. Otherwise average ( high by todays standards) crosman quality of day's gone by.
Value $50 to perhaps $100 if in near new condition.
Crosman has "some parts availability" , the loading gate isn't the best design, were it the SSP250 pistol a change over to a 22xx top end is THE ticket for greater performance.
The pistol version is what Dennis Quackenbush made his .25 and 9mm conversions with.

Thanks! I picked it up yesterday. I had to take it apart to get a stuck powerlet out, but I got it lubed, together and put a new one in and it shots great. The wood is in excellent condition. The metal shows the typical wear from sitting for years. It has the original box and a Tasco scope too. I am going to put it on a Facebook gun site local here and try to sell it. Thanks for the information.
