I just ran across this in the back of a closet. It was my father's. We think it is about 60 years old.
I am going to see if I can get it shooting. It has never had a set of seals and when I tried it in the early 80s it would not hold CO2. I guess 60 years is beyond their intended service life!easy 60 years i got the sear version for Xmas of 1959 they are a nice 10 shoot rifle and that is the first variant
That would not be a bad little road trip. Thanks for the lead!I have two of the 500’s one just acquired. I can recommend Michael’s Lock Stock a Barrel in Notasulga AL. He’s quite good and rebuilt both of my 500’s. You can Google him but never call on Sunday. He’s a retired master machinist with a well equipped shop.
