Tuning Crown 380 .30 cal. What to expect

I have searched (maybe not well enough?) and couldn’t find an answer.

I’m getting ready to put a 380 barrel on my crown mk2 to use for a raccoon/fox thumper under 100yds. My question is, can I get enough power out of this setup to do it? I know the crown is limited by plenum space, but can handle fairly high reg pressures. Is it possible to shoot 44gn jsb’s or hybrids at 880fps out of a stock crown? Or am I wasting my time?

Thanks in advance.

these crowns are really great shooters ,I shoot them stock all are 25 caliber with jsb 25 grain..I really don't see a need for mods..at 100 yards and under with pellets I'm satisfied...I shot this ground hog 1 shot from 80 yards with my 380 barrel length..I practice at 75 all the time, all the best.

Most I could get (running about 165b) is 860 or about 74fpe with 44gr. Still pretty stout but 165 is as high as Im going so I got what I got. Hybrids did not group at that speed from my gun. Let me know how you do.
Is your rifle stock? Or did you upgrade peobe, hammer, etc..
