Crown Continuum

OK I am seeing a few vendors advertising them. I am considering one to go with my Crown .22 in .22 as well.

Couple questions, I see the 380mm adveritised with the FX reg, is it OK, does it work for quiet.

And the 700mm barrel, is it slug compatable? Thinking about 25gr slugs to get the reasonable 125-150 yards and just turn the power wheel down for 16-18 gr pellets.

They are both pellet liners, but they are the superior liners and do quite well as you can see from many of the Crown posts on here with lighter weight slugs. The slug liner is better for the heavier slugs.

The 380 is going to be louder, but the shroud and mod definitely help. Depends more on what power you are trying to squeeze out.

Check out the AEAC video on the Continuum and you will see that both lengths shoot a very wide range of pellets and slugs well.

I have a .22 crown with a 700 mm pellet liner, (not superior) and it stacks hybrids and knockouts exceedingly well.

Easy easy half inch at 55 yards. It also shoots a variety of pellets very well.

I've actually not found anything it doesn't shoot well in the 700 mm barrel.

Just got my 380mm superior barrel yesterday. It is AMAZING with pellets.

But not slugs. I'm guessing it cannot sling them.fast enough.

And I'm ok with that. That barrel is for shooting 15.9 grain jsbs at 850 fps. Totally awesome how it stacks em. Get over 150 shots per fill on the bottle. How awesome is that?
