Crown kinda morning 10/18/24

In woods at 8:30 out by 10:45, longest shot 43 yds. closets 6 yds. which required a follow up as I hit him to low thru shoulder instead of head. Shot another but looked for 30 minutes and couldn't find it. Gun was FX Crown MkII Continuum .22 with 18.1 gr JSB.
Getting squirrels to hold still for long this time of year is very yard, only shot 1 tiny young squirrel thru head and it was the 1st one of the morning and the smallest, distance 34 yds head about as big as a quarter.
Going to give the JTS Airacuda Standard .25 a ty in morning.

Nice hunt, shooting and pic! The one on the far left looks like it has bot fly larva, or had some tough fights!

You are rockin' 'em with that Crown - way to go!

I went out this morning myself. Doing my shift at the driving range as I type, will try to post my results between selling buckets of golf balls.

Again, you & that Crown are dangerous!

It looks like rub marks up close, think its from going in a tight hole in a tree, there's wear around the base of its tail also which is usually a good indication of a den squirrel instead of one that lives in a leaf nest.
