FX Crown MK2 177cal barrel kit

My Crown was originally a 25cal and now sports a 22cal barrel. I was thinking of buying a 177cal barrel for it but don't remember reading anything good about FX and 177cal. Has anyone used the 177cal kit with decent results?

177 liners FX are touch and go. One thing you can do is get an 60 cm lightweight barrel kit. Try it out and when good ya have lucky day….. if not buy an 700 177 liner, cut 5 cm of both ends true both ends on a lathe and machine little ring again on breech side change it out with your 600 liner and go shootn. I don’t do pellets on mine, going way to fast. Have good results with 177 slugs.

When I received my Crown 2, it was set up as a .177 500mm, and I pulled out some Hades and fired the test string and also fired all of them into a group of about 3/8" at 30 yards. That was just the first "look see" to get an idea of how it shot. With pellets, it is amazing. So, whoever said the .177 in Crown was poor, probably had a bad one.

My 2nd Crown comes today first crown was a Gen. 1.5 in .25 shot well added a high flow fitting to the barrel and a Huma reg gen 2. New crown is .177 600 mm had to get it before I couldn’t greta to read everyone’s feed back and tune settings in .177 I’ll keep ya posted.
