FX Crown mk2 .25

Just got my 600mm .25 barrel kit (not heavy liner).
The gun is shooting 34gr wildmans @910fps and group like this at 75m. Its can Just get better, the table i shoot from is not very stable, the liner has only 50 shots through it. Im very happy so far and dont think I need a heavy liner (yet). But I have orderd pin probe, hume dual tp port and hammer weight so I hope to get to 950fps+ with theese 34gr slugs :)
And I need to find a moderator, the one i had on my .177 does not fit xD

I’ll just confess that I’m not a fan of pin probes. In more cases than not I find that accuracy with slugs goes down. My suspicion is that the pin probe, combined with spring tension from the mag (which varies according to how full it is) allows the slugs to load in a cambered fashion. I tend to prefer to open up the passage on the pellet probe with a dremel, if needed.

How do you like the PARD DS35? Have you had any issues with elevation limits? I take it you have coyotes on the mind? ;)

Not allowed to Hunt with airguns here 😮‍💨 but I like the scope and not had any problems with it yet, its zero at 50m and the BC calc works out to 220m isj. If I zero higher i can get even further :)

To be honest im one of those that want bigger and higher numbers (fps) and says to myself that it Will be better, but I also read that its not always the case, but it's hard for me not to do it anyway somehow :/
Might want to write things down in case the "hard not to do it anyway somehow" changes can be undone.

There might be LOL in there somewhere.

Nice shooting BTW

Can't go wrong with silent thunder ordnance moderators and I've tested them all

I got a New moderator on now, but with it on shots go all over, it’s not clipping or anything i can visualy see, the hole is 10mm so it should be plenty og space. If I take it off its pretty darn accurate again
If they are going all over, it likely is clipping. Moderators can change the harmonics and change the accuracy or sometimes just shift POI, but usually not all over. The only times I’ve changed moderators and gotten the all over shots is because they were clipping. Both times were with the same make.

I didn’t realize it was clipping in the beginning, but after enough shots, I could see slight marks on the moderator.

While your ordering, think about a Huma 150 to 190 regulator. Once you get it polish the washers, shaft ,and everything else you can super polish .
By using this reg , you'll be not straining your reg if your quest takes you over 160 bar.
I put a slug kit in mine, really didn't like the way it made the shot cycle feel. A couple of times it dislodged my valve shaft, I just took it out.
