Tuning Crown MK2 bottle valve removal question...

my long range mk2 has the stock 480cc bottle, i just purchased an aftermarket 580cc bottle

and want to know how to properly remove the valve from the stock bottle and install on the 

580cc bottle.

of course the 1st step is degass the original.......

not certain but.. buy the removal tool or buy a new valve.

With the Huma tool you put the tool in the vice slide bottle in place and insert the pin into the hole and turn it out clean off the threads and screw it back into new bottle they are only hand tight if it's the same as the impact valve

Either the Saber Tact tool, the Huma tool, or a 1/8" pin spanner is going to be needed most likely.

i just verified that one of my Korean spanners i have fit's perfectly..... so now to degas and try

Before I got my Saber Tactical tool I was using just a pin spanner wrench. Sometimes the valve would come off the empty bottle fairly easily, just holding the bottle in my other hand. Sometimes though they seem to fight you just a bit more. I noticed back then that clamping the bottle in a vice with soft jaw inserts was pretty standard practice. I think I first saw it on an AoA service video, but others do it as well.

I just use a spanner with pin. No issues at all and no need for the specialized tool.

If it's on so tight that a spanner and firm grip on the bottle won't work, a simple strap wrench/clamp like those used for removing oil filters will get it done.
