Crown trigger problem

Received my new Synthetic Crown Continuum two weeks ago and am being amazed at my first fully tune-able PCP which I will talk about in a later review. My trigger worked flawlessly when I received it but after only about 200 rounds through it, the first stage feels like it is dragging and will no longer return back to the starting point if it is released. This only happens when it is cocked. I have taken the trigger out and can not see where it may be binding so I have tried lubricating it with different types of lube from silicone grease to graphite and nothing helps. It isn't a complicated system and everything seems to have free movement. Has anyone else had this issue on the Crown?

You don't have a Crown trigger problem, you have a Crown trigger! It is a simple trigger, that is made to feel like a decent two-stage trigger, which it is not. The range of adjustment is limited, and when you get the second stage adjustment below a certain level, you will have what you describe. Based on my experience, you have a couple of options. You can increase the second stage weight, which will then allow the trigger to reset when released, but it will also increase the let off pressure. Or, you can remove the first stage travel completely, and have a single stage trigger. This will allow a slightly lower let off weight, but you need to be careful with the adjustment and be sure it is safe, as this is not the manner in which the trigger was designed to operate. You can also disassemble and polish the bearing surfaces of the trigger roll and sear, which might help.
