Cs700 stock

I like this one...but I almost ordered the skeleton!
I think weight is your friend when it comes to accuracy in springers... That was my reasoning anyway! Lol
I like the checkering but think the stippling looks Awesome and wish I would have gone that direction instead!!!

That’s a beautiful stock. Good choice. I would NOT recommend the “Skeleton Thumbhole” for reasons of strength. Walnut can be a brittle wood. Very much depends on the selection. You don’t know what you’re going to get. The cutout weight loss is nominal. The strength lost is not. Just setting the gun down hard on the butt pad can break a skeleton stock. Seen it done on a laminated skeleton stock and it’s stronger than a Walnut one.

Thanks Dan, that makes my decision easier. I will try and get a picture of my HW95 in your 98 stock posted.

Order placed, CS700 w/adjustable recoil pad, rosewood grip cap, stippling and select wood option. My first custom stock I’m pretty excited, always wanted a thumb hole stock.
Sweet!!!
They really do nice work! They were the exclusive stock maker for Theoben break barrels back in the day!

Man-O-Man they sho are sweet! I could not resist myself. Have a couple of JMs last stocks and the 500. Feel very fortunate to have these for I missed out for quite some time do to work and other nonsense. Now if we could get them to make them for the HW30/R7.
I also snagged one of JMs stocks for my HW50. I am surprised CS doesn't add the 30/R7, seems to be a lot of interest. A CS500 on my R7 would be pretty cool.
