Hello everyone,
I am curious if you are a bit relaxed when shooting at some practice targets, in other words not as serious as you would be shooting a competition target? I shoot a lot of practice targets to try and stay sharp and keep my skill level up to be able to shoot a good competition target. I know that I am not learning or improving my skills if I shoot any target without giving every shot 100% effort and concentration. I have been shooting a lot of 30-yard and 50-yard targets lately and decided to focus on shooting some 25-yard this morning. I set up my Pellet Test Target at 25-yards and shot at the center Ring first ( first photo ). After 5 scattered shots I realized that I was only going through the motion and not concentrating at all. I put my brain in gear and then placed 5-shots in the same hole on the next four Rings. Next I set up my MOA 25-Yard Target and shot 29 out of a possible 30. Anybody else out there that finds their self target shooting while sleep walking .
