JTS Custom "Button" trigger & "Cocking Knob" for the JTS Airacuda custom build.

These were the last little pieces I had been stalling to fabricate .. today was that day to just Get-R-Done

Utilizing the OEM trigger blade which has some shapes not willing to fabricate from billet, we just figured out the where and attached a spring steel rod, bent where wanted for set back & angle, made a button and we have a semi adjustable trigger blade after cutting off the old one. Button can go up/down or able to rotate finger side face. Kinda targetish .. kinda Ghetto

Up on the cocking arm made a new drop down handle being larger in diameter with poly o-rings for grip feeling much improved from the original.

Just a share ...

Ghetto or not I’m digging that trigger. The one thing I can’t stand on the HW100’s is the plastic trigger blades. Rowan makes a real nice piece but I can’t justify the cost. This looks like it may do the trick.

Again I can’t believe how well thought out the JTS rifles are. Even the cocking arms give you choices for the extensions.

Nice 👍

Scott, very nice fabrication of button trigger and cocking handle! The button trigger looks very comfortable to use.
Been fabricating similar designs on my competition guns for years now. yes this "Button" style always has your finger tip in exactly the same place every shot. That helps with getting a consistent break helping accuracy.

There are trigger shoes available that have a set screw that protrudes from the face of the trigger that have the same effect.
I like your idea better.

Mike

Now I have to start fiddling... lol... getting my gun set up for nationals now so I have time to practice. New scope and mounts just went on today so I can get my range wheel and clicks dialed in. Mine is far more Ghetto... 😆 🤣 😂
