Was just in the 'what did you do today' thread OldV. Its still coming together (slowly) sir, got the general parts roughed/ layed out for the trigger....
.....next step is milling out the trigger housing

I'm going to share something I learned. I have done auto body of my own in the past , and used Bondo , and other metal mix type fillers.
I recently learned that if you buy some JB weld 1 oz of metal and 1 oz of hardener for 6.99 that's crazy because if you buy the larger size for 16.99 you get 10 oz of each hardener , and metal. 10 times as much for 10 bucks more , and that JB weld sands down beautifully. It's also actually has metal in it so for what I learned it's makes a better metal repair than those metal body fillers , or Bondo. I whish I learned this many years ago when I was filling those chrome fastener holes.
Then use Bondo glazing putty as a final finish on the JB weld , and sandable primer after that then color paint then the 2K paint 2 part with hardener in it. Clear coat as a final finish comes in gloss , satin , or Mattee which makes it hard as heck , and gas , and oil proof. Whew that was a lot.

What caliber is your Purple Earkle Zelos. Yes Back in the day when I was building the Fal rifles Dura coat was a very popular thing. Cera coat is great as well. If you want to see some great color schemes check out DS Arms.com website. Love the Zelos .
