Custom shroud for Kalibrgun Cricket

Thanks for the replies. The reason I would like have a custom shroud is that I would like to use shroud + LDC together to achieve more volume to dampen the sound. If I remove the shroud, I would need to have a huge can at the end of the barrel, which would make the Cricket ridiculously long. The OEM shroud is pretty good, but little too loud for my taste.

I have actually looked into this recently. There isn’t a way around adding a bit of length. My Crickets are already pretty darn quiet with the factory shroud, but with a DonnyFL Sumo attached is just the hammer you will hear and it’s not terribly long either.

I think the Cricket shroud endcaps are bonded (not threaded into the shroud). You might be able to find a machinist to make you a new endcap with the LDC threads on the end. Getting one off and the other on and bonded correctly might be tough (in addition to the custom machining). I looked and can't find a seller for the endcap replacement with threads for the LDC but I'm certain that someone has done it.

The factory shroud is threaded on. I have seen some Cricket Carbines that had a slip-on mod that secured with a set screw but the pup shrouds thread-on. The Cricket barrel thread is a M14 X 1. There aren't any well known off the shelf mods that have the M14 X 1 female threads that I know of.

Thanks again. intenseaty22, do you have the stock shroud still on place with the DonnyFL Sumo or only the DonnyFL with 1/2"UNF adapter at the end of the barrel?
I'm pretty sure I have seen somewhere a custom shroud on sale for Cricket with 1/2UNF threads at the end cap.. I if remember correcly it was carbon shroud and little bit thicker than the OEM one... can't find the site/post anymore though..

Hello. You got the moderator( shroud). I comment: My cricket 2 tactical 60 in 5.5mm WITHOUT moderator groups 50 meters of wonders! But, WITH a moderator, the pellet falls wherever. Can you get me a replacement moderator for my cricket? Thank you
