Received a CS500 stock for my HW95. Thought to order this model first and try it with a diopter. Wasn’t certain how comfortable it was going to be considering the comb height. Didn’t really care because the CS500 was for my HW98 anyway and the two models stocks (95 and 98) are interchangeable. Can now report that the CS500 will allow for the use of a diopter however; it is NOT very comfortable. The cheek is really rocking on the cheekbone to get a clear sight picture. This same result be be the case for any open sight configuration and the 500 stock on any Weihrauch barrel breaker. Like a tight fit of cheek to stock especially for scopes but this it to much so. Now have ordered the CS600 Tyrolean stock for this application and will move this 500 to the 98 as planned anyway. Posted a forum just recently on the CS500, HW95, with a diopter and did want to get back with results. Especially if anyone is considering this combination. When the 600 Tyro gets in, will write another forum and post the results. Must say though that shooting the 95 with a diopter is really enjoyable. Keeps the rifle handy and light. As difficult as it was to obtain a clear sight picture it shot it better off hand than my scoped 97. Looking forward to the comfort the Tyro will bring. Would highly recommend having a springer with a diopter in your arsenal of airguns.
