custom stock ???

You sure got some nice wood on your CS stocks. I just received my CS700 and was hoping to win the wood lottery too but it’s not nearly what I was hoping for. Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful stock just missing the character I was hoping for.

Here are some pictures of my CS700 stock. I selected the Rosewood grip cap, stippling and the adjustable pad. Once I got it out in the sun I was pleased. Still not as much figuring as I was hoping for but the color is nice and there is a little figuring. I talked to Paul about it and understand that he can only select from the blanks he has, I guess timing is everything. I do think they could do a better job on the adjustable pad however. The pad is not centered on the aluminum plate and the plate contour is very rough.

With all that said I am very happy with the stock, it feels fantastic when shouldering and I cant wait to try shooting thumb up. Wish they made one for the HW30/R7.
