Yes, you’re right on a lot of things. Your prices are better in most cases. But you have a better selection. I did my fair share of shoping in the US. Michigan is only 4 hrs. away. There’s times I wish I brought a trailer.I feel sorry for you Canadians. When I lived in FL, I met some Canadian folks who stuffed their car with all kinds of things to take home with them because it was so much cheaper hear. The man said he made wine at home because a $3 bottle of wine in the States cost him $15 in Canada. That was 15 years ago. Can't imagine what it's like today.
Booze is another story.
.20 cal. Weihrauch’s are not available in Canada, since Covid, can’t even order. So I get them at AoA. The exchange is a killer, then I get taxed at the border. And I have to have them shipped twice to get here. First to a dealer out West, then to me. Plus pay him a fee.
