Other Custom Veradium Air Taurus 308

Howdy everyone just wanted to show off my new to me Custom built Taurus 308 by Brian Thurman at Veradium Air this is the only one in existence and I'm not sure if Brain's going to build anymore, I bought it from a Great AGN member a couple weeks ago and have finally gotten time to go to the range to test it and it is a Awesome shooting rifle, the power and accuracy are fantastic it's more accurate than I can shoot it. With the Donny Yokozuna mod it's very quiet. I took it to the range last Tuesday and it was a challenge to try an shoot between rain showers and be able to chrony with my Labradar and FX pocket but I got it done, so here's some results. All starting pressure was 3600psi and I give psi for each consecutive shot.
117gr PC Cast Lyman
1 1039fps 3600psi
2 992 3400
3 968 3200

5 937 2750
6 921 2600
7 903 ? forgot to check air gauge
8 899 2400
9 868 2250
10 stopped for rain

132gr NOE PC'd and Non
1 1000fps 3600psi
2 984 3400
3 967 3200
4 947 3000
5 927 2800

117gr cast RN
1 1027fps 3600psi
2 1012 3400
3 997 3200
4 976 3000
5 947 2800
I had to stop because of the rain so I'll be going again soon and will update my post each time I go. Also I will be sending the rifle back to Brian and have him put it in one of the FX stocks he's been modifying his rifles in so it will be really Awesome then, here's some pics.

Impressive velocity for sure!!!! Right there with a stock texan.....1000 fps with 134 is great😀...What kind of barrel a TJ liner? I'd hook up to external regulator and run it right at 3625psi for consistent fps.with your heavy slugs... Nice powder coated slugs..
Thanks on the slugs, not sure but I believe its a TJ next time I will take my regulator and do that, I was wanting to see how many useful shots I could get on a 3600psi fill.

@Bowhunter73 Any updates on things you discovered in the process of learning this rifle?
Not much I shot it at the range last week but was having problems with my chrony and accuracy at 100 yards wasn't what it should have been, so when I got home I contacted Brian and told him about it, he asked for pictures of the crown and he told me it looked like someone had cut the barrel and re-crowned it. So he had me send it back to him so he could check it out and fix it, also sent him my bullets to shoot in it and he would also build me a magazine for it.

I'm not impressed with verdium air at all high priced and won't never return my calls....

He is a complete lier that is his business tell lies after lies.. if you see the first pics I post it rifle is exactly same length is impossible to have cut because the treads for the ldc are already short enough . Yup that is his awesome work .. the gun make power but is badly machined.. he has no business working in guns .. hope he solve this pile of parts for you ..

Yup he wouldn't even answer my calls he told me he would send me some .457 slugs to try never got them... After that he wouldn't never answer me then he texted me saying I'll give you a call back in a little bit never called me....

I shipped that gun with 2 mags and they where supposed to be worked in order to be mag feed .. but nop he shipped the gun without magazines, so he would not even send me the factory ones.. he was going to 3d printed ones but nop those never came either.. that gun do not work at longer distance because the bullet lead in - is badly done , when you use the single loading tray witch is the only way to use it and load a short bullet 120gr the bullet automaticaly you here like if fell down, because the space is way to big the bad accuracy is because the bullets are somehow going in miss alignment on the barrel .. he need to do the hole rear of the barrel again.. but he can't because he doesn't know to do custom barrel work .. o but I learned the hard way if the gun is not factory aviable.. simply stay away of custom machining... what a clown 🤡.. to say that it needs a new crown when that's is the way he shipped that gun ..

I'm just waiting to hear back from him at this point, hopefully things get straightened out and it will like the bullets I'm casting do you still have the molds that you were casting bullets for it that could have been the problem it just didn't like the bullets I was casting.

All molds gone .. but it got nothing to do with your bullets they look great .. if he doesn't make the lead in again .. and this time the way it should .. the rifle will still be the same .. 3/4 of what ever he says is bul%$#&/? .. not a person to give work to do .but the idea of a 308 bulldog , more powerful than a Slayer almost work ..😂 to bad there was done by a NO .. skills machinists .

For a 308 being sent out to make more power? I'm not impressed with those numbers; stock 308 Texan gets those numbers with 3600 psi.
