Next question, not related to modifying gun. I have 3 mags and all of them are very tight going into breech. Why?

Virgin gun? Brand new right? If the barrel is protruding past the breech side and not flush then you probably want to adjust it only if it's sticking past the receiver and it's the only thing causing your tight magazine fit otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. Tights better than loose. More ways than anything.

Yea , gun is less than 200 shots in. My barrel brass? Protrudes our slightly as it should to accommodate the groove in magazine. Right now I need 2 hands finger wise to remove mag. Goes in to breech fairly good.

like i said , it fits , it's just snug. guess it will wear a bit with use. not a biggie. was just curious.

The magazine was tight fitting on my Prod too when I first got it. A little silicone oil on the protruding part of the barrel solved the problem. Didn’t require much.

If you tested a few mags and they were all very tight, loosen the two barrel set-screws about 1/2 turn. Insert mag, and tighten them back down.

I see Hill Airguns sells transfer ports for the P-Rod in four different sizes. I have no idea what one does or how it works -- why would I choose one size over another? I think they go from 105 to 140.

Is that the UTG bipod there? I was thinking about getting one, but wasn't sure it opened up wide enough.

All of my mags are a tight fit going in. With arthritis in my hands they are impossible to pull out. I have gotten in the habit of pushing them out from the other side with my left thumb. Problem solved.

Good thinking. One of the reasons I got a .22 instead of a .177 is that I have very little feeling on the very tips of my fingers, so even when I can pick a 177 up, it's hard to orient it properly. We all have to adapt as we get older!

Just got mine today. Super tight magazine here too!
I did a 20/20 thingy with Pyramid Air. They attach and zero the scope and also attached the carbine stock. I think I got lucky or they did something special to the stock, because there is no looseness with the stock like I've heard so much about.

The bigger sizes apparently let more air through, but that can lessen your shot count. Study that video carefully. It looked to me like Hill's 125 was a good choice.

I have the UTG clamp-on bipod and it does NOT fit. Bummer!
So I too am curious which bipod rangur1 is using.

i thought i had responded before on this. it is a plastic clamp on pic rail- NOT STABLE! and a woltis bipod from amazon. the pic rail i got from ebay. but , i stress , not really functional. you need to check "urban airgunner" where he drilled a pic rail into the plastic stock. his is functional.

I think I may wind up doing that, thanks. Right now I've got a long bipod shooting stick that I'll play around with and see if I get comfortable enough with it. It's no good for shooting from a table,, though. But I'm a little leery of voiding the warranty on my pistol as soon as I've gotten it.
