Other CZ CT200

He's got good taste. The T200 is a great piece, and very versatile, especially the non Target model, which can be adjusted up to have pretty good power, or adjusted down for 10m work. You probably already know, but the CZ was also sold as an Air Arms S200. It may be easier to find the Air Arms version used, as very many were sold. If I'm not mistaken, CZ no longer manufactures it.

That CZ your son is shooting is a great sporter class rifle. Buying a T200 would be basically buying the same gun, I can't see where there is any benefit unless it's having one of his own. The Daisy 599 is a smoothbore BB shooter for that specific type of competition, would never hold a candle to the CZ/AA S200. I'm not familiar with the Hammerli. Another rifle shot in the same class as the CZ/AA is the Crosman Challenger, they just came out with an updated model in the last year. But I would still take the CZ/AA, those guns are gem.
Honestly, I would talk to the 4H shooting coach about what they recommend for the next gun. They might steer you toward a true 10m competition rifle. Start stacking your dollars, because an older but good used10m PCP will probably bite you for $1200 or so. Here is a link to an FWB800 new on AoA:

Time to start mowing lawns!! (Do kids still do that?????)

Buying his own gun because the club guns get messed with ALL the time. Someone's always changing the sights because truthfully they can't shoot. He has the cash to buy whatever he wants, but there's a price cap for the air rifles allowed at nationals and champions choice holds the price at $650 for the Daisy and Crossman.

Hi all

Awesome rifle. I think that's the route he wants to go. Taso1000 has one posted for sale if someone wants to contact him for me. I haven't met the requirements for the pm option I suppose. New to the site and trying to figure things out.

Thanks! We are only an hour from Hickory and are available on Friday. Not sure on the pm thing. It says 10 days and 10 posts before you can pm with other members.
