Diana D75 25m peep sights

I'm looking to set up a gun for 25m indoor bench this winter and decided to see how the 75 would do. I shot 2 targets, 10 shots each (JSB 7.33gr), for groups and was pretty suprised by the results. I'm definitely thinking this is my girl for indoor if this is how well she can door outdoors. It always amazes me how much more precise peeps are over standard irons. I think I will likely scope the gun for the matches but who know. Sometimes its just fun making things a bit more difficult.

The wind picked up a bit for this group. I tried timing my shots when my flag wasn't moving but the group still opened a hair. I can't complain though. The gun did its job.

Keeping the fun alive .... as one who simply loves the ergonomics of the D75's ... was fortunate to find a D75 stock w/o an action. From there researched the feasibility for perhaps getting a PCP action shoehorned into the stock ? Now this based upon what AG PCP actions were in inventory and a willingness to be cannibal in this process. WaLa ... a JTS Airacuda std could be made to fit. Cut on some wood, adjusted some specifications and created a one off hybrid D75/Cuda mis-mash. Handles like a D75, shoots like a modern pcp with adjustable power @ 10-40 fpe in .22 caliber.

WOOF !!!

Another rille go's on my list . wonder if i can find in a lefty ?
Lefties turn up occasionally.
Found mine in Poland.
Good luck 🤞.
My 75 is my winter target smasher. 20 meters, the length of my barn.
Often I contemplate fitting the scope, perhaps this winter.

I bought a 75 T01 from a local fellow who shot it in state level competition back in the late 80's or early 90's with a fair amount of success. I've owned it for around 20 years now. A fantastic rifle. I'll never sell it.

Actually my example is a 75 T01 U universal model. To the best of my knowledge the Running Boar version was the 75K. Very similar setups though with not many differences. The Running boar was set up for optics only and had a clean muzzle weight with no dovetail cuts for a front sight, and the buttpad was solid hardwood for quickness and ease of shouldering. Other than that, I think all other specs are the same.

I recently discovered it's time for new seals. The Giss system makes it a fascinating design to tear down and work on. I managed to get a copy of the factory service manual, which is essential if you've never worked on one before.

Cyclops' video is a great reference too

His YouTube page is a virtual treasure trove of info. Thank you!

I love his channel. He's one of the few that I actually find worth watching any more. And the detail he goes into is just brilliant at times. He's made a few special notes/tricks during videos that sure enough when I got to that part I was like "Damn. I'm glad he said something!".

Joe is a very talented teacher at heart I think.

I'm definitely amazed by it. We were testing 25m targets for peeps at the club this weekend to see what would work and what wouldn't for a fun shoot. Took 2 shots and was pretty proud of myself. Think I was a click or 2 out?

The 10m Rifle targets worked well enough but the chickens made my eyes tired in no time flat. Honestly I think even the 10m rifle targets would wear people out too quickly. The 10m pistol targets seemed to be a bit better sized. Not sure if there's another option out there that was meant for that type of shooting.
