Daisy .22 500ct pellets new?

Just picked up a couple of tins of these Daisy .22 500ct pellets from Tractor Supply for $7.99. I've never seen these before, but they look quite nice. There's no information that I can find that shows the actual weight of the pellet. They seem to be bigger and heavier than the Crossman Premier HP that I exclusively use ( can't beat the price and are quite accurate in all of my PCP's). The only thing that I don't care for at the moment, is the tin is a push top not a screw top. Anyone try these yet? It will be a few days before I get a chance to try them out.

Here's a pic vs. CPHP's.

I have been buying those for a couple of years now. I first tried them in my Avenger and Kral puncher jumbo and they shot awesome. I then got a K1 and thought I'd try em in that they seat all the way forward and they never move or jam so when I got my GK1 it loves em too. with some sale prices and free shipping I keep about 18000 on hand . I only order in munltiplies of three x4 that way you get them in boxes of 1500 (three tins per box) and four get put in another box and shipped fed ex and have always been packed well and undamaged

I've researched this extensively (I'm a projectile nut, still waiting for my first appointment with the shrink).

This is version 2 — most likely a rebranding from Gamo (Spain).

The weight is 15.40gr.

An estimated BC is around 0.018.

The hollow point is both fairly deep and fairly wide — which should aid in HP expansion.

Makes sense, as they say made in Spain on the bottom. Thanks for confirming the weight. I was guesstimating around 16gr. They do look like a good pest pellet.

For a cheap pellet, the .22 Daisy hollow points are my favorite. They group well from many of my rifles--better than Crosman--and they are absolute wrecking balls on small game.

A couple of weeks ago, 8 pellets anchored 8 gray squirrels:

They actually expand. And not just in a synthetic medium like ballistic gel, but recovered from game:

Hopefully you'll find a rifle or three that likes them.
