Daisy Daisy 499B - rear sight replacement to traditional irons?

Hi All

I would like to use traditional iron sights to shoot 7M-10M at home off hand.
I prefer traditional iron sights with a V or U notch. Is there a rear sight I can buy for the 499B that could be a rear sight for me?

I can use the alternate front sight insert to get that vertical front post without needing to change that
Looks like the factory rear mount is kinda a partial 3/8 dovetail.

Any simple/cheap adjustable rear sight options?

that is a good question
now the only chance is the blade sight that has a Crosman name on but is Williams made
concern
will the large size tube and the receiver break be in the way of the elevation structure of the sight
the forum has a problem today and it will not allow pictures
you have 12mm to the upper part and 20 to the lower part but the elevation screw out the bottom could be a problem
now you want simple and cheap, though two words are never in a sentence talking about sight
there was an industry brand sight that Archer Bros use to sell but i believe it would be too high if you could find one
so, could we find a mount that would put the sight back farther, sure but it will start to get pricy
now i have a cheap idea at least i have the bits and piece to do it
what you do is use a certain make dovetail to weaver adapter and they are junk until you cut then in half but stay with me it is the clamp in this
so you use the clamp to the 499 rail and then clamp a piece of dovetail to the clamp so up are up and now backdown and mount the sight on that and you get this now some fitting could be needed
tell me what you what to do i have the bits here
