Daisy Daisy Powerline 41

Just bought a Daisy Powerline 41 in chrome. I have a S&W 78G that is so accurate , the trigger is perfect II really like the chrome. Just had to get another one.

Anybody else shooting these air pistols? Any tips? Mods etc for best performance?

I have got a 78G and one of the early Powerline 790's that were assembled from S&W manufactured parts. Something I do that improves the trigger pull for me, is to cock it, apply the safety, open the bolt, pull the trigger, load a pellet, take off the safety, aim and fire.

It sounds like a bit of a faff, but it takes up a bit of the sear travel and helps me focus on the shot. I think the adjustment screw in the trigger on very early models was doing the same sort of thing.

Just remember to pull the trigger BEFORE loading the pellet, unlike when my muscle memory failed me and I shot a hole in a plywood partition at my local range...
