Dar Gen 3 leaks

I have a Dar Gen 3 that started leaking after a year I started checking it out it was leaking from the oring closest to the action where the pressure gauge is I replaced the oring several times and come to find out if I didt put any kind of lube on the oring was the only way it would stop leaking this makes know sense to me? also almost every screww was loose barrel was loose in order to get it to stop leaking I had to leave air tank partial unscrewed I think the part that has pressure gauge in it was not butting up square to the tubes im sure its gonna be a problem down the roads . The original orings are very low quality

I wish I could help you make sense of it but I replaced every O-ring on my DAR Gen 3 about a year and a half ago, lubricated each one with silicone grease per standard practice, and it sealed up 100% on the first try.

Hi Scott, I can’t remember the exact relationship of the pieces of the mid block and regulator assembly, but doesn’t the higher pressure of the reservoir naturally push everything to the low pressure side (plenum) once the system is pressurized?
Talking the threaded in pieces. If a part is able to float such as say a depinger etc ... air flow will indeed migrate it towards the valve / AKA: follow the air flow.

from what I have seen working on this gun once you get to about 100psi nothing moves I think the orings push to the side and grip it will be free to flex back and fourth air pressure hits it goes rigid I checked all the fit diameters and bores and there is about .007 interference for the orings. Im a retired machinist and I myself would give them twice that and see if you can get it together you can always remove material it complicates things that mid section that the gauge screws into is so short so it flops around I had this gun apart many times thats the only place I had leaks . My first pcp I have had several spring guns I will be getting another pcp very fun to shoot. Yes the dar gen 3 looks very similar to the Airacuda
